Spain is a country that still follows traditions, and even if today´s bullfights are a matter of “discussion” in our country, the truth is that for centuries it's been an important part of our culture, and for many still is today!
The target of this tour, is to give the visitors a wider perspective on our traditions, and that's the reason we want to include in this gastro-historical-traditional private tour of Madrid a visit to what is the biggest bullring of Spain, Las Ventas, the third biggest of the world, after Mexico and Venezuela. Not only is it probably the most important bullring of the world, but also is one of the most beautiful there are, with it´s Neomudejar style.
The surrounding area of the bullring is famous for the typical taverns, which usually specialize in products related to the bull's meat, and of course, bull tail, is one of the most delicious dishes one can try in our lovely city, Madrid.
This private tour, as usual for our tours, will begin at the travellers hotel, and in order to make it a “local living” first thing we will be heading to is the metro, which will take us to the bullring of Las Ventas. We will explore the ring and will learn a bit more about bullfighting, as well as about the bull as a “Brave” animal.
After the ring, there will be time to jump into one of the very many taverns around the ring to start with our first dish, “Bull Tail”, once we have enjoyed this delicacy we will be back to the metro to hit the heart of the city and to keep on exploring it in a gastro-historical-traditional way.
